I never wanted to write our breakup - yet here we are. one planetary heartbreak coming up.
you thought I was the world but I am less than planet. my orbit is not elliptical. I will not turn around in three hundred and sixty-five days to come back to where you are waiting just past the sun.

but I am a death star not a planet. I was birthed from chaos and I am but chaos. I wait for no one.

the thing about you is you think affection is a needs-based grant and if you check all the boxes you will get what you want. you think if you wait for someone to love you someone eventually will.

and so you wait
and wait

to fit the bill.
