The dos and don'ts of diabetes
    Diabetes can be a real health issue. It could be your enemy or it can be your best friend. What are the



ramifications of this disease. If not detected early it can spread havoc throughtout your body. As a result

 

high blood sugars and overeating can bring about lots of complications. Some of them are blurred vision,



amputation of limbs, cataracts which can cause blindness, heart disease, dementia, mental confusion,



depression, pain and poor diet control



    Insulin and oral medication along with a well-balanced diet will surely keep blood sugars under control.



You can think clearly and gain a positive attitude. Avoid too many carbohydrates which elevates blood



sugars. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and avoid sweets.  You will find that when a person is control



of their diabetes that their appetite decreases. They are free of cravings and complications. Do not let



Diabetes control you, you control your diabetes.



    If you have diabetes, stay happy and healthy just as I do.
