Shakespearean Sonnets to Ponder... The Perfect Sonnet Contest
The Cat...

The inner workings of a stealthy cat
Are fascinating to the human eye!
They drool and crack their teeth at birds and rats;
Excited for a nibble on the sly.
I learned that with a cat's unhurried blink -
You're getting a secluded feline kiss;
A purring, kneading kitten - as you'd think,
Is sharing its content with utter bliss.
But when you hear a feline hiss and spit -
You better get far back out of the fray...
Lest you become a victim of its fit!
Just leave them to themselves and walk away.

Still, yet - there's something regal in a cat -
But mind you - keep your distance in a spat!
