The love I have for my wife
Till there was you

I was alive at age seventeen
But I wasn’t really living
There was just something missing
And I felt lost in so many ways

I had a home and a family
But there was emptiness in my heart
Often I looked for something but what
I just was looking for direction or purpose

Then one day you were there before me
At that moment I heard the birds singing
Flowers started to bloom in my heart
And I felt myself coming alive again

When I found you in my life
I found my reason for living
I just had to ask you the question that day
I was shaking for fear you would say no

But the answer was YEY, YES
How I wanted to make you happy every day
I tried but was not always perfect
My mistakes were many and I’m sorry

Time did bring us two wonderful sons
Now they have families of there own
And we have great grandchildren
Also let’s not forget Roco and Levie

Now time has passed on and twilight is near
Remember how our Vows said
For better or worst, richer or poorer
We are still together from here till eternity

When I look at you I still see my bride before me
Age cannot change who you are in my heart
Time cannot erase the many moments we shared
I still see you as the young beauty I first met

It’s a wonderful thing loving and holding you
And now I’ll always be at your side
Holding your hand close to mine
And knowing we will always walk togeather in love

Always and forever Love You Bob
