This is a random thinking of how life is.
Without The Three.

The rain outside my window pane,
Each day forever much the same.
No answer rides upon the wind.
No solution offering to be my friend.

I see the day so gray and tense.
It awaits the storm with great suspense.
Caution is the message clear.
One missed step brings disaster near.

Alone and wondering what to do.
Searching for the smallest clue.
But one does not with haste appear,
To soothe my worries or absolve my fear.

Each move I make a tortured step.
My way is paved with sad regret,
Of things in life I knew to do,
But somehow could not see them through.

How many battles have been lost?
When on the sea of life was tossed,
The very thing your soul required.
But you watched it sink so deeply mired.

Pain that flows from deep within.
When you think of what might have been.
But yet in truth you cannot say,
That your life was meant to be that way.

So tragic is the day of birth.
When one looks back upon it's worth,
And views the place they stand today,
So dismal is that shade of gray.

What is the power in this place?
That keeps us seeking that state of grace,
In which our souls become renewed
With courage, strength and fortitude.

Is it power from on high?
And will we know it when we die?
So many questions when in review.
The answers known are very few.

So remember as we move alone.
Our struggles fierce, cutting to the bone.
Pain, Love and Fear you see.
We cannot live without these three.
