Short Shots contest entry (Feb 2014).
Fresh powder, over the mountains fallen
Skiers delight, hearing their siren callin'
Up the lift and to the top of the world
To where the sun shined and the winds swirled

So many slopes to try, choices to be made
One selected with a lighter downgrade
But what started as easy soon becomes tough
Speeding up and heading toward a steep bluff

Faster and faster, into trees and beyond
Did that sign just say this was a Black Diamond?
