Peering into the nature of the mind.
My mind.. the mystery that lies within isn't enough but just is..
Clawing.. desperate to release at the slightest push
Taunting and pleading, shifting and settling it breathes
It knows evil and speaks of it freely but naively like an unknowing child
I silence it, tell it to shush
I calm it, tame it
Mold it into brilliance and wonder and spectacle
It yields at my very whim, it obeys and relents
It’s form unknown yet with a presence so adamant
This thing unnamed, unseen, undefined
Lying somewhere in my head
Resting.. watching.. waiting..
Pondering..
