The rebirth that spring can bring
Rebirth
I feel useless and forgotten
Then I feel His breath upon my ear
My creator- My savior whispers
“You can grow so much this year”

He takes my hand and leads me out
He points to the barren earth
Dry and brown without any life
Then He bends and whispers “Rebirth”

I watch as time passes by
As dry brown earth turns to fields of green
As once dead grass bursts forth anew
Towards the sun flowers grow and lean

I grow and I flourish anew
His soft spoken words fill me with glee
As fields fill with life so does my soul
My heart leans towards the hope I now see

If earth can grow anew each year
If He can bring life from dry soil
Then no matter what I do
I can regrow with a little toil
