Inner tumoil
Audible silence.
Deaf to my ears,
Loud in my head,
Resounding in my mind
Recreating images within.
Soundless pictures
Rummaging through
The very essence of my being.
In clearly quiet tones,
In hues, shades and tunes.
Mind straining to listen
To the soundless voices
Struggling to penetrate
The deep recesses of
What and who I am.
