To my Love,

An abundance of time has passed since our first passing,

Yet I still feel the flame that you struck in my chest

Through the wind and bad weather our flame has survived

Too strong of a fire it was to suppress.

Doubts and fears, like strong gales

Weren't enough to extinguish

Our flame is too strong, unique and distinguished

True love and compassion do not flourish with ease,

The stronger the wind, the stronger the trees.

My point, I'll make mention, is a simple one really,

You're the love of my life, which I'll never grow weary.

An invisible vein runs between you and I

Intertwining ours hearts, cut it through and I'll die.

So my Love, you should know that you've struck out my fears,

For I know that your love comes to dab at my tears

My soul has a mate, my sorrow no more,

I love you, cherish you, and always, adore.
