passing without a breath of meaning
quick lips
         moving
                   without a sound

swift feet
         running
                   off the ground

fast hands
         touching
                   without any feeling

rapid eyes
         expressing
                   so much concealing

hasty lives
         passing
                   no breath of meaning

rushed world
         hurrying
                   to death careening
