Little star up in the sky,
how you please my loving eye.
I know I must go straight to bed
but watch you twinkle, I want instead.
Your light has traveled many miles
and each clear night you give me smiles.
I learned the names of all your friends
inside constellations where your home depends.
I hope one day to fly in space
and discover more beauty there, just in case.
