On being judged irrevocably
Why is it that every time I'm home I end up in A&E? My mother doesn't know about this check-in; and I don't know the details. The consequences of this visit have led my friend's parents to find me unhinged, unstable and implosive, impulsive. I feel conspicuously mad in the presence of my friends, more so their families. And to add to it all I'm a visual of mental illness, protruding bones and ill-fitting clothes say more than my vocal chords can. I can't defend my state and my misadventures because I'm a walking scrimshaw if instability- an artefact of derangement. Medical records will testify to my prosecution, I'm not fit for human socialisation.
