A suicide song
FALLING OFF THE CLIFF

As I stand on the edge
A separation from the world's pledge
I deter to fly; to scale the life beyond
A palling soul; breaking all bonds

My mind; a river of thought
Bitter betrayal; all what it got
Flowing in my head; can't let it go
All sins of love; favours of foe

A laboured head with a hollowed heart
The sound of winds tearing it apart
Listening to the music of those who departed
Telling me to remember the days I fathered

A withered soul nurtured a heart so strong
To leave behind the world I belong
To take a jump from the diving board
And dive deep to the peace abode

As I fly to kiss the end
For all the tears I shed
I feel sudden silence; a lightened bird
Giving back what it took from this world

The journey is marked with fragrance of blossoms
Awaiting my body for a holy liaison
With birds singing prayers for my soul
With peace blended happiness;
I fall, and fall and fall
