Beginning of a poem I was playing around with. Comments appreciated.
I met a man with golden hair
and a silver tongue.
Brass rings on each finger
and a Old Gold hanging from
his pearl white teeth,
with a canine capped in silver.
I traced my fingers over his bronze
chest and kissed the dip on his neck
where a silver Saint Joseph lay.
where his heart beat steady,
cradled in an ivory case,
pushing iron through his blood stream.
