May entry for the "Whispers of the Soul" poetry contest. A Rondeau about muse.
I find it in the flecks of gold
Within your irises, that hold
Stories to tell, and light to give,
And secrets of the life you live.
You’re every tale I’ve ever told.

I’ll write books to tell of each breath,
And every moment of you left.
While thoughts of you my dreams assail,
You’re every tale…

I’ll find it in your morning glow,
And every word you say will show
That all the muse I need is this;
Your skin, your heart, your soul, your kiss.
Perhaps one day you’ll come to know,
You’re every tale.
