Never assume the worst.
Embrace

As Ruth assumes the worst, she runs out of the house with uncontrollable tears falling from her soft blue eyes. Michael, Ruth's husband finishes the phone call from Captain Belling's, telling Michael that their son Corporal Adams convoy was hit by an IED, and the news wasn't good. Ruth was half way down Sunshine place when Michael hung the phone up and ran after her. Frantically yelling for his wife, Michael finds Ruth in front of the William's house, curled up like a newborn baby repeating the words, why did I let my baby go into the Army? Michael grabs Ruth in his arms and begins to tell Ruth their son isn't dead, but injured badly from saving several of the other soldiers from dying. As Michael gently lifts Ruth from the sidewalk, they embrace each other, and thank God that their son is alive.
