A hurried scribbled message
carefully placed in a petite perfume bottle
sent out to find a beach on a coastal sea,
from a river bank emptying into an ocean;
its watery path to find you, as it must be.

An intended journey, silent and reverent,
awakened and encouraged by moonlight's
shimmering water-song. Sent lovingly,
a two word scribbled message
celebrating along the way, as it must be.

Love's assurance is faith;
letting go, not a loss, no lamenting,
but rather a measure of love's eternity.
Destined on a promised course,
a message in a bottle released to you
from me, "love always", as it must be.
