A poem about being lost...

Below me, there is nothing,
Above me: everything,
A piece of heaven just out of my reach,
Out of sight,
Out of mind,
I'm out of my depth.
Heavenly Father, Earthly Mother,
Can only point and whisper,
They cannot help,
They do not know.
So I am left,
Standing at the gates of heaven,
Crying all alone.
