I Love You, O Lord, My Strength

I love You, O LORD, my strength!
My God is my Rock and my refuge;
When the snares of death surrounded me,
He saved me from terror’s deluge.

In the rain of His Sun I am still,
In the voice of His thunder I rest;
In the storms of His mercy I live,
In the lightning of love I am blessed.

The LORD is my Saviour and fortress,
My deliverer, my stronghold, my shield;
In the clutch of His grace I am free,
His power in me will not waver or yield.
