This is a poem about how much I appreciate my best friend.
Sitting by the window,
looking out at the rain.
Wishing it would pour down harder,
and wash away the pain.

Dark, grey clouds begin to cover the sky.
I can't help but sit and wonder why?

I never meant to hurt you.
My head wasn't on straight.
I can feel that your mad at me.
Your eyes must be filled with regret and hate.

Joseph, you don't know
how sorry i am.
freak, I really hurt you.
Da**, da**, da**.

I know I hurt you,
and it hurt when you walked away.
It kills me knowing that you walked away,
without knowing what all I had to say.

Your over there hurting,
full of pain.
I shouldn't have hurt you,
I have nothing to gain.

I bet you think that I don't care.
I bet you think that life isn't fair.

Your not the reason you got hurt.
That was just me being a jerk.

Joseph, I don't feel the same way as you do,
but my love for you is true.

Your my best friend.
You have always been there for me, through thick and thin.

After you walked away,
it took a while for the pain to get to me.
Pain is what made me realize stuff.
It made me finally see.

I need you more than you know.
I am sorry that it didn't show.

I miss hanging out with you,
the way I see it,
we will never be through.

I'm not asking you to forgive me,
because I know that you are mad.
Just know that without my best friend,
my life is really sad!
