sometimes the distance can break things that we called unbreakable
I recall the October of our past,
when things were simpler,
and we played the game of the lovers,
those were the gold days of our past...

But October ended, and November came,
on the 2nd of November the news came,
a job opportunity, a chance of bringing you something,
something that would make our lives better, that something...

The news turned into an offer, and the offer into a chance,
but the chance would bring something I didn't wanted, distance.
The distance that brought the chance was the risk on all,
Would you miss me?, Would I miss you?, Doubts came from all places...

You told me to take the chance, that smile I will never forget,
for it was the last true smile that you would show me in the regret,
you never wanted me to leave, but you thought it would be the best,
sadly, not always the best for one, is not the best for two lovers who look for the best.

The distance came, and with the distance our games ended,
once I was back, the smile I had fell in love had faded,
the game of the lovers was finished before it turned to more,
for in the distance that came our love turned to nothing.

On June our game was finished, what seemed unbreakable,
distance broke it with a few months,
for distance is something that can break the things we consider unbreakable,
I wonder...

Had I stayed... would June had become just another month,
in our game, of loving each other?
