This is a poem I came up with. My first Poem! Reviews appreciated.
Those young wise eyes
That held bits of the sky
That told stories
Words could not

Those deep pits of light blue
They held secrets never told
And perhaps a hint of violet

They held joy and laughter
Sorrow and fear
Love and loss
Agony and pain
Sometimes at the same time

Eyes outlined in emerald green
Melting away pain
They held innocence
Yet the pain life gave
They held grace, love and compassion

Now those young eyes
That held bits of the sky
Hold nothing but slow stunned death

And they will be forever stained in my memory
