Dreams lay
Deep
Inside the soul
Unheard, unseen
The weight of their ashes
Pulling,
Pulling her down, but
She doesn't feel them

Aimless, her feet
Lead
Toward something, intangible
Unknown, tantalisingly
Out of reach

Please God, please
Find me
Turn me around
So I may see
Myself
Free of ashes
So I may feel
