Detective's Harrington and Williams are on the case to solve the towns oldest mystery.
Preface

In the town of Briarthorn, Louisiana. Detective’s Mike Harrington and Sharon Williams from

the Briarthorn Police Department have their hands full with trying to solve their current and

cold cases for when they catch a new case that turns the town upside down and sends it

and its citizens into a frantic, horrifying run for their lives for when they discover some old

history in the towns records at the Lookland County Courthouse, where detective’s

Harrington and Williams find that the town has some secrets in its closet that no one knows

about. Or at least that the two detective’s know of. But, as they begin to work the newest

case that they’ve caught, they find that they are making more enemies than they’d ever

thought they would. But, that’s the least of the detective’s problems, for when they get a

visit from an assistant district attorney from the Lookland County District Attorney’s Office.

Darnel Johnson is a repeat felon doing crime for a murder that he was accused of

committing back in 1974 for the murders of twenty-three women in Lookland County and

tossing the victims bodies all over the county, leaving behind the victims identity card or

drivers license stapled to their chests. But one day, there is a computer glitch somewhere

in the court house and once the computers have been turned back on and everything

seems to remained in working order and no mishaps. A few days later, a corrections officer

at the Lookland County Correctional Facility walks towards the building where the inmates

on death row are kept and are only let out for one hour a day, Monday thru Friday, to

deliver some news for inmate Darnel Johnson, as the corrections officer walks through the

door and it closes behind him and Kenneth the corrections officer walks down the hallway

and to the cell where Darnel is kept on a daily basis since his sentencing back in 1982,

when he was found guilty and sentenced to life without parole. But some how, today is

Darnel’s lucky day, because today he is being released from prison on good behavior.

Simon Bancroft is assistant district attorney that finds himself working with detective

Harrington and Williams as they unravel a treasure trove of surprising suspects along the

way of solving the county’s oldest mystery, while at the same time Mr. Bancroft is visited by

some unexpected guests at his office from the Attorney General’s Office from the states

capital, that have a job offer for Mr. Bancroft. But, with this kind of job, there are some rules

and time limitations that need to be handled with care.
