Gazing, I am absorbed by your face, Which easily mirrors my own.
Misty moonlit mornings
Paint the sinew daguerreotype images,
With the dreams of yesteryear.
I goggle over the attire of long ago.
Layer upon layers
Rustling over dewy white limbs,
Virgin to the vibrancy of sweet, golden sunlight.
And still, you hold your grace
As the heavy, burdened material smothers.
Wiping the beaded moisture from your face,
Steadfast and on a mission
You continue with that which
Awaits you each morning the rooster crows.
Lemonade edges frame your
Gentile smile and ladened eyes.
Gazing, I am absorbed by your face,
Which easily mirrors my own.
