A poem about a man who has made great change, but has he forgotten himself.
FORGOTTEN

His Presence I felt,
I tried not to melt.
Eyes so appealing,
I stopped myself leaning.

Shoulders so broad,
Seen as a lord.
But trouble was rife,
He'd fallen in strife.

His mouth spoke some words,
His eyes, they did concur.
Change he has made,
For years he has paid.

Heart in the open,
Contorted and broken.
Open for abuse,
Protection he needs to use.

Yes give to others,
They live as your brothers.
But I just have to ponder,
Have you forgotten you, I wonder!
