Writing for a friend that is sick
Thoughts of You

Watched the leaves on the trees gently swaying
And my thoughts turned to you, and I started praying
It seems that sickness is always coming into our lives
And just like trouble, from it you can never ever hide
So I knelt before the altar and prayed for your healing and God's grace.

Heard the birds chirping outside of my window
And, again, my thoughts turned to you as it started to snow
Things are not always as they seem, and yet there is so much stuff
And no matter how bad you are feeling, I pray you won't give up
I touched my rosary as I called out your name and invoke mercy.

Saw the sunshine shinning brightly through the trees
And my thoughts were of you, and God meeting your needs
Life has many ups and downs, but I know God will keep you around
And as my thoughts turn to you, I know that you are holding your ground
Yes, my thoughts of you caused me to read my Bible today, and lift you up as I prayed!

Praying for your health, grace and mercy for you always.
