She handles the scene well.
When Miss Construe tried to play through
one day on golf course Five,
the players there could only stare
and utter, “Man alive!”

(Construe had thought--indeed, was taught,
  that playing fast was good.
She figured they would stop their play--
  indeed, she knew they would!)

Yet standing by beneath blue sky
there was this high strung chap.
Emotion Al looked at the gal
and blurted, “This be crap!”

Al’s face turned red and so instead
of giving his ‘Okay’,
he made a scene upon the green
and waved his Callaway.*

Yet Miss stayed calm and with aplomb
tossed Al a heartfelt grin.
Her ball had rolled quite near the hole;
Miss said, “I’ll tap it in.”

But when she did it kinda slid
and so it did not drop.
She gave an eye to every guy,
and Al’s green scene did stop.
