Allegorical and comical, I think.
It starts out so subtle
A leisurely drive
Try a new car out
Feel so alive

The twists and the turns
O adventurous bingeing
You enjoy the excitement
The thrills never-ending

But soon it gets easy
You’re a little bit bored
It’s no longer a challenge
Not even when floored

That’s when it happens
Betrayed by your vice
You’re going too fast
And you’re driving on ice

You're turning the wheel
But you’re not even swerving
You're out of control
It feels so unnerving

You try out the brakes
But they don’t slow you down
You’re sliding downhill
You’re calamity bound

You can’t keep from crashing
That’s when it gets scary
No more joyrides my friend
Because you're getting married
