One million thoughts
Mixed emotions
I like you a lot
But there's a lot of commotion

I want to trust my heart
But I know it won't last
I'm a temporary fix
Until you find your path

My future is lonely
My present is lust
I want you to want me
For you to stay and earn my trust

You're scarred from your past
And shielded from your present
I want to be your future
But I know I'm just a contestant
