Story for kids
The old octopus

He lived in a shell.

He ate lots of plants

And looked very swell.

He wore a shiny suit

Made of fine blue scales.

He had a seahorse necktie

And a moustache as well.

One fine day he saw

A shining little stone

He sat there and wondered

'Could I take it home?'

Along came its owner,

A young lady fish.

She said 'Be my guest!'

And he hurried home quick.

He stared at the stone

With wonder and awe.

Then laid down to bed

In his dreams he saw...

A young octopus

With a blue scale suit

It looked just like him

Oh! What a hoot!

As he woke next morning

He felt so refreshed!

He went to his bathroom

So he could look his best.

He brushed his beak

He washed his suction cups

He walked up to the mirror

And got quite a shock!

In the mirror he saw

A young octopus

The stone made him young again

What luck he had-opus!
