What it is to be Sanguinarian.
I will always be your Nightbird.
The shadow that flies high above the scorched planes of a dark and dry world.
Throat searing with the pain of parchment.
I fly in with the coming of night and disappear with the rise of the sun.
My touch to you will be like cool water.
My voice like the song of angels.
My body an alabaster palace where you may lay your weary head and worship.
But beware.
My love comes at a high price.
A painful price. A debt of life, per-se.
Not the beat of your heart, I would not dare take that from you.
But a small token of the life that your beating heart pushes though you.
Just a taste, just enough to wet my pallet.
The ebb and flow of life and love, strength and passion, in the form of a crimson tide.
I will not take more than you would offer.
The bond between us is one of understanding, of willingness, of trust.
You can trust me to be all of those things.
Your life is precious to me, so precious that I long to taste it.
To feel it become a part of me.
Let me show you the way I see in the night.
The beauty in what others consider to be too dark.
I want to share with you the truest connection.
What it is to give someone yourself, in the purest manner.
Let me know you, let me feel you, let me taste the life of you.
