A poem about waking.
The broken glass pieces soaking in liquor
Fit together in my mind
The two ends of the world,
Its full sky-
Its vagrant moon
The greying stars
That took all and gave nothing
Here now, the summer night ends
The hand opens,
A wind releases
Something calls from the silence
From a far off thought
An old voice romancing time goes
Spilling into the front lawn
Now strewn green in morning
