A rare original sonnet with darker tones. Filled with symbolism and allusion.
Where is the Honor 'mongst the Thieves?
Subtle gesture, nod of head,
Nimble fingers, tangled weaves,
Chaos through the Masses spread.

Zip-lines in the dead of night,
Justice crept on cat-like feet,
Smiling faces in the Light,
Labor in the Darkness sweet.

Steel-trap mouths, agendas broke',
Truth of brethren never spoke'.

Enter as the Master leaves;
Where is the Honor 'mongst the Thieves?
