We've had our good times
But now it's time to say goodbye
When it was hot outside
You brought coolness to my skin
It felt wonderful at first
After the hot sweltering months
Then you started chilling me to the bone
         Everything you touched turned to ice
         I never wanted to go outside
         Instead stay curled up waiting out the storm
         You would tease me, turning warm under the sun
         Back to your bitter ways come sundown
         Now like all guests you've worn out your stay
Let the sun light up the sky
Take a hike up to the mountains
Where the snow is pretty
Leave me here in the valley
Where there is no cold to be found
Keep your icy fingers to yourself
We'll all live in peace
