waning...embers...Is it?
Light
waning
dims the path
yet flickers hope
to survive through embers beyond, above.

Mortals seized future on cloaked hope and joy
unveiled, revealed
the quicksand
that which
eats
life
defiled,
hardened but
light beams through cracks
sans knowing the embers are but Great Light!
