This a a poem I wrote years ago and is one of my favorites. This is perfect for Halloween.


THE BEAST

In the shadows of the night, the beast within takes to flight.
And when the moon is high and the mist so low
that's when the beast within will show.

It's eyes are red
it's teeth so bare
it hunts you by night with no fear

You can run and scream with all your might,
but you will not win the fight.
