Does this talisman belong to the Headless Horseman?

25 lines

Talisman

Wandering through, the black hole.

Rubbing my talisman as I saunter.

Looking around with wild eyes in fear,

The Headless Horseman is near.

Others claim that this talisman is his,

I am told he will hunt me, till I am found.

I believe they lie,

I do not know why.

The day I found this talisman with a note,

It reads, "The one who holds this talisman is protected,

From evil and darkness.

Some say this belongs to the Headless Horseman.

Truth is, it was created for protection."

The murder is the talk of the town.

Heaven's gain is the mortal world's loss.

There must be power in this talisman of mine.

How, am I to seek the truth of the Divine?

I must go to the bridge where he is seen.

To show myself and perform the ritual,

I see night after night in my dreams.

The Headless Horseman comes,

Divine envelops his darkness.

I must go now,

Alone, to the bridge.

Awaiting my nemesis.
