All I needed was a job and no one would listen
Stained Hope

Today my gown is white so clean and bright
No worries
Now not so new a smudge of black and blue
I'm hungry

Life is all askew more than I could chew
Mental beating tears
My flesh is all a tingle my face years with wrinkle
No voice

They locked me up and filled my cup
With poison remedies
I did no harm was they who broke my spirit
And more

Now life unfolds in fright and this detention
No one will listen
Tonight my gown is red a heart that on this bed
Lies bleeding

Bleeding

Dead

No one listened

Poverty won
