Memories of trips to the beach.
Seashore Serenity

                      Bright air, warm face,
                      Sand between my toes.

                    Seagulls singing, laughing,
                        Healing all my woes.

                          Salty, fishy water,
                        Crashing at my feet.

                    Lovers, walking in embrace,
                        Kisses tasting sweet.

                        Kites are flying over,
                    Waves that ebb and flow.

                Rocks and shells that shimmer,
                      Gift me with their glow.

                  Hunting driftwood treasures,
                      One looks like a seal.

                      Pockets full of nature,
                        All that I can steal.

                      Now the sun is setting,
                  Winds have worn me down.

                  Stomach growling, nagging,
                    Best head back to town.
