A Native American inspired poem
There was once a time
where one could hear
under the Moon's shine
the singing of the wolves

they were once free
hunting and playing in their land
howling and hooting with glee
no boundaries to stop them

One day while scouting
A strange man attacked the family
laying claims to the land while shouting
the trespasser murdered the curious pup

Many times the wolves fought
the greedy man multiplied and took more of their home
all the fighting brought
was death and sadness for the packs

Now the wolves cry
mourning their loved ones
and beneathe the night sky
they speak all together under the moon.
