London Winter

The season is a changing, the winter is approaching
Accompanied by the changing of the colour and season's icy breath
The parks glisten in the morn with showered dew across the grass blades
I clench my coat closer as I hurry to the station squinting in the early morning light
Like a missing lover, I look forward to the warm embrace of summer
