Why my room is messy!



The art of avoidance




Frenzy cloaked in coloured silk
I jam my care in crooks and drawers
Draped avoidance, flame brocade
Florid craze distracts the thoughts
Scents and oils invade the sense
Pollute the mind, divert the eye
Jewel glass tricks the hindered light
And dancing shadows trick and lie
Bedding down with sleeping snakes
One false move could end it all
Treading water, playing blind
Eyes shut tight deny the fall.
