After enough pain, you begin to like it, and it becomes your ally.
Forged In Hell

By The Multiman

Hit me again!

Bring it on!

The whip cracks.

I laugh again.

The Warden hates it.

He hits me harder.

I laugh harder.

Upon arrival,

I quivered at pain.

Losing my hopes.

But when I knew,

That I belonged here,

I had no choice,

But to accept it.

Centuries later,

It was all I knew.

All that I remember.

Only in pain,

Can I feel now.

As man wants joy.

Then so do I.

And all I know is pain,

Then there do I find it.

My name is pain,

My food is pain.

It breaks me to make me.

I was forged in hell.
