Merry Christmas

It is time again for Merry Christmas. As I reflect on this statement, I found myself talking with God. I asked the Lord " What is the meaning behind the word Christmas". I know God has a sense of humor. God said "Look it up, there's an app for that!" So I did what the Lord told me to do. The word Christmas is two words. Christ which means Christ (obviously) and Mas. Mas is Spanish for "more". At that moment I had an epiphany! Christmas is "More Christ!" So when someone says Merry Christmas, it means they are "happy for more Christ." As I look forward to this glorious time of year, I celebrate the birth of our Lord and savior, but I also look forward to His second coming. So when you here the words Merry Christmas, smile because, there are people that are happy for more Christ!
