Letter on a Ledge


A passionate letter of love setting on a ledge
A thousand emotions inside a thousand words left unsaid
Powerful as the ocean yet patient as the tide
Just another paper to those passing by
Though deeper is it's meaning and stronger is it's cause
To be in the hands of another the reason for it's creation at all
But that journey was not taken, the words remain unsaid
And I, like that letter, am still waiting to be read.
