Lord, evil, santuaries
The Lord guides me, even when I don't listen.
When I lie down under a bridge or in an Alley way;
He gives me dreams of a beautiful life;
He refreshes me before I wake.
He leads me to Sanctuaries for the homeless and downtrodden.
Walking down these streets of hell,
I feel the evil all around me;
And yet I know, the Lord is here;
I am armed with his angels as they protect me.
I am given meals, blankets and clothing from his helpers
in sight of those whom despise me;
I am offered a shower to clean my body;
I feel so grateful.
I know His will is to be done;
I will try to follow Him the rest of my life,
so I too may rest with the Lord Jesus Christ
when I pass from this room to the next.
