Description of early relationship longing

"Hey, babe," strong hug, long kiss,

"dinner smells great!"

His eyes bore into my soul,

"I've missed you."

He into the shower,

me turning on Sade.

Soap, shampoo, deodorant

Filled my nostrils as he sat for dinner.

Leaning forward as we spoke,

Hanging on words, sharing laughs,

Holding gazes, holding hands.

Leaving dishes on the table,

Pressing into him on the couch,

Arms held me close.

Soft lips whispered in my ear,

Taunting, teasing, wanting.

Hands roamed my body,

Kisses travelled his.

Clothing hung from lamps,

Covered the floor,

Landed behind the couch.

Lips, tongues, fingers in action,

Slow, then, hurried, then desperate,

Whispers of, "Yes!"

"Please don't stop!"

Grateful groans; ravenous moans;

Collapsing together spent,

Exhausted, content;

Deeply soaking in his eyes,

Smelling us fill the room,

Pillow talk, spooning, giggles

Until another day.
