Disability, a further look.
Nobody chooses how they will be constructed, neither mentally nor physically; no one decides whether they are born kings or servants, male or female, complete or imperfect. A disability, either celebrated or denigrated, considered by some a state that no human desires but by others as a triumph of overcoming adversity. Many may presume that a disability can delay personal development, whilst in direct opposition others believe it fuels innovation. A perceived radical approach for mainstream society to segregate individuals who are not physically and mentally perfect, may seem completely normal to others. Why is it that an inevitable choice authorizes a form of isolation towards a party of the world's population?
